Penpals to Soldiers

I recently signed up with a website to be penpals with soldiers. I'm excited to be doing this because I appreciate everything they do for our country(ies) and have wanted to show my support for a long time.
I wrote to the website saying that I couldn't afford to send care packages (things that soldiers want from home and can't get where they are at) but would love to write to them, and they set me up with a man and a woman. I'm hoping to have both my letters out by this Wednesday (the day I have no school.)
I'm very thrilled to be supporting them in this way and perhaps in the future I can connect with wounded vets, too.
I was also going to write to prisoners in the US, but I'm a little worried about where the future will go with that once they are released from prison...

I'll stick with the soldiers for now.
