Last week I got my nipples pierced. No, I will not be posting pictures, but I had some questions about getting them done. Most of the questions were answered here in this article, and some questions include:
- The Pain Factor
- Healing & Soreness
- Jewelry Rejection
- To Bra or Not to Bra
- Breast Feeding
Nipple piercings are something I've wanted for a long time but have either not had the money for it, or talked myself out of it (aka chickened out), or just forgot about it. I went to Need A New Hole and that's the only place I will ever go for piercings. The beautiful Anastasia makes you feel so comfortable about the whole process. She cleans everything perfectly (I am not one to skimp out on piercing cleanings) and she is very informative and knowledgeable about the piercings, the healing process, and the cleanings.
When I went to the piercing shop with my friend Vanessa, I was terrrrrrified. I don't like pain and I don't like needles and I knew that this is one of the most painful piercings to get (along with the septum, but I had no trouble or pain with that one) so I stood there rubbing my poor, scared boobs for quite some time before the process actually started.
I am very pleased with the outcome, and I must mention that my nipples have been perpetually hard since the procedure, which is an odd factor I didn't consider. They are pretty sensitive and I have been wearing a bra almost 24 hours a day for every day since. I can't wait until they heal and get new jewelry for them!
