My Weekend in London (Ontario)

I went to London this weekend for a bunch of artsy events that were going on. We visited the Market,  traversed the downtown area, and experienced many great things. Saturday's weather was so beautiful (70 F and sunny) so we spent a lot of time walking around the city.
We ate a lot of food. We had this massive bacon cheeseburger poutine with nacho cheese, cheese curds, bacon, gravy, and ground beef on top of fries. I don't know how anyone could not like poutine, especially when this place had so many different topping options. For the extremely large portion we got -- it filled up three people -- it cost $12.
We also ate ate Milestones -- one of our favorite out-of-town restaurants. We love the baked goat cheese & slow-roasted garlic flatbread plate. It came with two different types of bread, two types of jam, two bulbs of garlic (we asked for a second one because we are garlic fanatics), and creamy goat cheese. We couldn't get enough!
Other than eating, we did a lot of shopping. We visited many interesting stores on Dundas as well as a pottery show and sale and the Market as mentioned before. At the pottery sale I picked up a beautiful vase from a local architect who does pottery as a hobby. He's created many beautiful and interesting  things (as pictured below.) All of the pottery was incredibly beautiful. Every single piece was a wonder. To top it all off, my mother won a door prize of a beautiful blue dish. Woohoo!

I also ended up taking some creeper-stalker-private investigator photos of people from our hotel's top-floor balcony. I know it's weird. It was so interesting, though, getting to watch these people from so far away. They didn't have any idea I was even looking at them, let alone taking pictures.
