More disappointment

What a disappointing end to a disappointing year.
The one and only hockey game I wanted to see this year -- the OHL doubleheader -- was a huge disappointing waste of time. It turns out I was the only one dressed for the occasion; my mother and her boyfriend weren't dressed for the cold weather (not surprising) so we had to leave because they were cold. I miss the one game I want to see for the year because they can't dress for winter. Great. The one game ever held at Comerica Park and we jave to leave halfway through. I didn't expect to be this disappointed today but I should've known better.
Would I ever get a chance to see this again in my lifetime? Not a chance. Not even in the slightest.
A disappointing end to a disappointing year, though I expect many more disappointments in my lifetime and I'll probably have a disappointing end to my life as well. Lots to look forward to.
