I got these makeup items a week or two ago at Rexall.
This Physician’s Formula gel eyeliner comes in a pack of
three connectable eyeliners with a little brush. I personally do not like the
brush; I find it is too hard and stiff to be comfortable for using on my
delicate eyelids. The package is for green eyes, which comes with green,
purple, and black eyeliners, but it is not against any law of government or
fashion to have brown eyes and use them.
I have mostly been using the black one. I like the way they
go on my eyes; nice and smooth, easy to apply (with a different brush than the
one they came with.) The eyeliners were on sale for $7, which was about a 50% markdown
and an especially good deal for Physician’s Formula.
While I was at Rexall, I also asked about using eyelash
curlers. Personally, they look like some sort of torture device, but I have
been feeling like my eyelashes are not looking as good as they should be for
their length and hidden beauty. I bought this Sally Hansen eyelash curler for
less than $4 on sale. I have learned that you use the curler heated and BEFORE
you apply your mascara. To heat mine, I either let the blow dryer warm it up,
or I press the eyelash curler between my tiny hair straightener for about 5
seconds. Make sure it is not too hot to touch your eyelid and then squeeze your
lashes as closest to the base as possible (again, without burning yourself) and
hold for 5-10 seconds. I have found that this makes a dramatic difference,
though I am having trouble using it on my left eye. :(
